Maintenance work required?
Reporting Maintenance & Emergency Repairs with eUmeco
As a valued tenant of eUmeco Property, here’s how to handle efficiently:
Non-Urgent Maintenance (during business hours)
Please submit any routine maintenance requests—like minor appliance concerns—via your Relationship Manager through our business hours. These matters will be addressed promptly.
After-Hours & Urgent Repairs
If an urgent issue arises outside of business hours, such as burst faults, please first contact one of our designated tradespeople (as per your pack or tenancy agreement). Then, notify your Relationship Manager the next day so we can coordinate the next steps.
Why This Matters
Under NSW tenancy law, urgent repairs are those that threaten property, or access to essential services. If non-urgent work is carried out as urgent, you may be responsible for the associated costs.
What Qualifies as an Urgent Repair?
- Burst water service or serious leak
- Blocked or broken toilet
- Serious roof leak
- Gas leak
- Dangerous electrical fault
- Flooding or significant flood damage
- Major storm or fire damage
- Loss of gas, electricity, or water supply
- Failure of essential services (hot water, heating, cooling, etc.)
- Any condition creating unsafe or insecure circumstances
